Raclette Party
Sunday, February 16th 2014 – 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm

Many people know about fondue, but have you heard of raclette? Raclette is both a type of cheese and a Swiss dish based on heating the cheese and scraping off (racler) the melted part. Smack in the middle of our cold Chicago winter, this class, led by Joanna Miller, will teach a little about the history of raclette, how to prepare and serve it, and the many other ways to use a raclette grill. You’ll see (and taste!) firsthand how fun throwing your very own Raclette Party can be!

Joanna Miller is a cheese lover who works in food PR, working mostly with the Wisconsin cheese industry folks, and author of the blog http://www.racletteparty.com/. She’ll share recipes from her blog and
co-owner Tracy Kellner will pair cheese-friendly beers & wines for the
occasion!

Class is $35 per person at the Logan Square location: 2528 N. California Avenue
